Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. Overview
InfoAddict ("we", "us", or "our") operates this website at infoaddict.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, company name, and message content when you reach out via our contact form.
- Newsletter sign-ups — email address when you subscribe to the InfoAddict Dispatch.
- Usage data — standard web server logs and analytics events including IP address, browser type, referring URLs, pages visited, and session activity. This data is used to understand site performance and content engagement.
- Public agent activity — for the public MCP, agent discovery pages and bounded call-to-action events, we retain aggregate operational events in Cloudflare Analytics Engine for up to 90 days. Completed MCP tool calls also create anonymous PostHog MCP Analytics summaries under the site's configured PostHog event-retention period. These contain only bounded tool, outcome, timing, profile, journey, declared client family and Cloudflare-supplied approximate city, region, country and edge location. They do not retain IP addresses, raw user agents, cookies, persistent or session IDs, company context, request arguments, responses, intent, or person-level journeys, and they do not create PostHog person profiles.
We do not collect payment information. Analytics tools may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage to measure site usage and improve the website.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information you provide is used solely to:
- Respond to your enquiries and contact form submissions.
- Send you the newsletter you subscribed to, including relevant updates and insights.
- Improve the content and functionality of this website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
This website is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Public-agent operational telemetry is held in Cloudflare Analytics Engine for 90 days and is available only to the site owner as aggregate reporting. Anonymous, payload-free MCP tool summaries are also sent to the site's PostHog EU project for MCP quality analytics and optional owner Slack alerts, under that project's configured event-retention period. Contact form and newsletter data is processed via secure API routes and may be forwarded to third-party email or CRM services for the purpose of correspondence. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, CDN, and security services.
- Sanity.io — content management for blog posts.
- PostHog — product analytics, session summaries, anonymous MCP tool-call quality events, and optional owner notifications.
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
- Beehiiv — newsletter subscription and archive services.
- Resend — contact form email delivery.
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery (subject to Google's privacy policy).
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected]. If you subscribed to our newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
